In June 2010,  Sarah worked for  Alchemy World  NGO to help deliver three day intensive workshops to young Ethiopians and help them start their own businesses (see HUMANITARIAN page for more details). During this project, Sarah travelled through the  cities; Bahir Dar, Mekelle, Harar, Dire Dawa, Addis Ababa and Lalibella meeting all kinds of people from various backgrounds, capturing their stories whilst exploring the historic underground churches in Lalibella and absorbing Ethiopia’s beautiful culture and scenery. In one memorable event, street kids in Lalibella approached Sarah and shared their dreams of travelling abroad in search of better education. Sarah realised that Ethiopia was not all desert as it was portrayed to be in a lot of western media although a very poor country with determined citizens who want to improve their future and the future of their country. All they needed was a little support.
